Labor

Also known as the Workers’ Solidarity Project (WSP), the labor branch of Colorado Springs DSA organizes alongside local labor unions, labor organizers, and workers across the Colorado Springs, giving workers resources for direct action and union campaigns. We also host frequent labor rights and labor organizing workshops.

Political Education

Also known as “The People’s Academy”, hosts educational events in which we engage in analysis and discussion of political, historical, and economic topics from a socialist perspective. This committee supports membership development by focusing on important topics related to chapter activities, building up socialist’s knowledge on theory, history, and practical skills through educational opportunities and events courses.

The International Working group is committed to building solidarity between workers of all countries. Presently focused on Palestine Solidarity and Migrant Rights work.

The COSDSA electoral branch works to support and implement socialist policies on the local and state level via direct action, canvassing, and community organizing. We partner with other activist groups throughout the state to support policies like social housing, M4A, and the Green New Deal.

AfroSoC was created to be a safe space for comrades of color to organize & build community together, while fighting for a more diverse, multiracial DSA.
